Primo Restaurant in Lecce, Italy
Primo Restaurant has a proportion of 60% women on staff, and is run by managing partners Silvia Antonazzo and Marco Borelli. Leading the kitchen is Chef Solaika Marrocco, a young woman of 23 years, the first woman chef to win the Birra Moretti Grand Cru Award 2017 in collaboration with Identità Golose and from July 2018 Madame chef for Atelier des Grandes Dames by Veuve Clicquot. In March 2018 Primo was also a part of the round table of the Veuve Clicquot champagne house, during the international Identità Golose congress, discussing the female vision of the human factor in the kitchen.
